Overview

Have you got what it takes to "Beat The Box"? This invigorating team building event will get your employees and colleagues up and out of their seats, challenged as they'll be with something very different to their ‘everyday’ work lives. “Beat The Box” requires strategic planning, problem solving, communication and control to succeed.

Hosted by our lively professional compere, all contestants will be put through their paces to ensure everyone is motivated and engaged throughout the activity. This unique team activity has been developed to promote healthy competition in the workplace and can be used as part of your conference or meeting to reinforce your message or simply as an ice-breaker.

What's Involved?

Teams will collaborate in a series of nail-biting challenges that appear simplistic on the surface but will test everyone's nerve and determination.

Each team will be provided with an allotted time within which to practice each of the varied challenges, before being asked to nominate their best performing player to enter the 3m x 3m arena (the Box). Complete with audio visual effects and haze, the Box is where players compete against each other to win points.

In-game Challenges

“Beat The Box” includes a variety of infuriatingly simple challenges that will test your employees’ ability to work under pressure. Some of these challenges include;

  • Reflex - Speed and precision is key to completing this challenge. Hit the lights as they flash up on the board and beat the score in the time limit.
  • Ricochet - With just one bounce between you and victory, you must take aim and bounce the ball off the table into the goal to succeed.
  • Separation - Sort the two sets of coloured balls into the two trays within the allotted time using only one hand. Fast hands and keeping your cool are key to this challenge. Drop a ball off the table or use two hands, you fail.
