The Events Company delivered European Sales Conference for optical specialist, Transitions.

Following the success of a recent event we were approached by Transitions Optical to host their EMEA European Sales Conference, which brought together international delegates for a three day event. Our event managers responsibilities included the overall management of the conference including delegate management, production and content design, breakout sessions, off-site dinner, team building and venue management logistics. The initial concept for the conference was ‘A New Dawn, A New Day’ to promote the strategy of the event.

The chosen venue for the conference was the Dolce Sitges Barcelona, set in the Catalonian hills overlooking the Mediterranean, which was a great location to bring everyone together with excellent conference facilities and break-out rooms.

Our event managers were responsible for delegate management, venue logistics, AV and content creation. The biggest challenge faced during the planning process was bringing all presenters together from different nations. The presenters needed to produce communication materials in line with the event objectives to ensure that the content and delivery is clear dependent on the subject matter. For The Events Company, this involved extensive pre-event planning in various destinations in Europe including Ireland and Paris to ensure clarity of the underlying message and in keeping with the general theme.

To keep presentations fresh, engaging and meaningful we designed the presentations using various multi media applications including PowerPoint, Prezi and VT.

Our event managers also hosted a fun, motivating team building day on the beach, as well as a celebratory awards dinner.
