The Events Company delivered a successful conference and awards dinner for optical association, AOP.
The Events Company were once again successfully appointed to manage and support the National Optical Conference and Awards Dinner for the Association of Optometrists, who provide support and guidance for their members within the optical industry.
Our brief was to help with the organisation and delivery of a successful conference and awards ceremony whilst exceeding members expectations and working within relatively tight budget constraints. Find out about our conference management services here.
350 – 500 Delegates
This year’s annual conference for 450 delegates was hosted at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on the NEC site in Birmingham.
Our event managers were tasked with the design, management and delivery of an exhibition, conference and award dinner. Our in-house creatives designed and delivered a bespoke animated logo and brand for the conference and awards dinner incorporating the branding of their headline sponsor, Johnson & Johnson.
In order to help focus the delivery of data and content from the invited speakers, The Events Company created a bespoke set and offered complete audio visual support.
The black-tie awards dinner celebrated the yearly achievements of the industry which has quickly become a highlight in the optical calendar. Through our extensive experience of room dressing and staging, we were swiftly able to transform the ambience of the space from the formal business feel of the day to the celebratory atmosphere of the evening.
In addition, we provided technical assistance for an exhibition and a number of syndicate sessions.
