Snap-on Tools UK invited us to provide a Wild West Hoedown at the ICC Birmingham for their annual Franchise Conference, welcoming 500 attendees and their partners. The event called for an immersive, high-energy themed experience that would bring delegates together after the conference programme.

From authentic western styling and interactive entertainment to a lively hoedown atmosphere, our role was to create a memorable celebration that captured the spirit of the Wild West while delivering a polished corporate event.

Creating An Unforgetable Corporate Themed Event: The Brief

The client’s objective was to bring all franchisees and their partners together, creating an opportunity to relax, let their hair down after a busy conference, and network with other partners in an informal setting. The purpose of the event was to unite everyone in a warm, relaxed atmosphere, making a Wild West Hoedown the perfect theme.

With a stunning mix of entertainment, themed styling and interactive moments, we engaged guests from the moment they arrived, setting the tone for an evening that felt fun, memorable and completely different from the daytime conference experience.

Transforming The ICC Birmingham Into The Wild West

Following months of detailed planning, we transformed Hall 3 and Hall 4 at the ICC Birmingham into a large-scale Wild West Hoedown in just three hours. Delivering the event within such a tight deadline required careful coordination, precise scheduling and a highly experienced production team.

To ensure every element was ready for a fast and seamless build, we created detailed mood boards, CAD plans and installation schedules. With an army of crew on site, led by our logistics team each area was carefully dressed, styled and completed on time, turning the venue into an immersive western experience before guests arrived.

The creative concept centred on a bold western setting that instantly shifted guests from a corporate conference environment into a lively evening celebration.

Creating an authentic western atmosphere

Life-sized props, authentic western styling, atmospheric lighting and carefully placed drapes helped transform the ICC Birmingham into a dramatic themed setting. Rustic furniture, saloon-inspired details and layered décor created a relaxed, characterful space where guests could network, socialise and enjoy the evening.

Our Solution: Delivering A West West Corporate Event

Our entertainment programme gave guests something to enjoy from arrival through to the final song. Cowboy and cowgirl performers welcomed attendees, before a choreographed Wild West show featuring live singers, dancers and fire performers became a standout moment of the evening.

In addition, guests enjoyed themed stalls including Cactus Ring Toss, Bandit Knock Down and Bean Can Alley, while the star attraction was our Rodeo Bull Ride.

The evening continued with the Nashville Nights Cover Band, who kept guests dancing until the early hours.
