As headline sponsors of The PA Way Themed Awards Ceremony "Passport to Paradise", The Events Company and Crowne Plaza Stratford-upon-Avon set out to deliver a memorable international awards experience for 120 assistants and administrative professionals.

Hosted at Crowne Plaza Stratford-upon-Avon in September 2026, the event welcomed guests from the UK, Germany, USA and South Africa. Our brief was to develop a distinctive themed awards event that celebrated the achievements of the PA community while creating an exciting and immersive guest experience. We developed the vibrant Neon Jungle concept, supported by a carefully planned pre-event communications campaign.

From creative concept development and event theming to venue coordination, corporate event production and on-site event management, our team managed every stage of the event to deliver a seamless and memorable celebration.

PA WAY THEMED AWARDS CEREMONY: THE CHALLENGES

The key challenge was bringing the Passport to Paradise concept to life while incorporating the vibrant Neon Jungle theme across multiple event spaces. We needed to create an immersive guest journey that felt authentic, engaging and visually impressive, without compromising the flow of the awards ceremony.

The experience began with bespoke boarding-pass invitations before guests arrived at a PA Airways check-in desk, complete with uniformed airport hosts, security screening and a VIP departure lounge. The awards space then required a complete transformation, featuring a bespoke Neon Jungle stage set, immersive foliage, colourful animal props, silhouette lighting and full AV production.

Careful planning, venue coordination, supplier management and technical rehearsals were essential to ensure every element worked seamlessly and the awards programme remained on schedule.

OUR SOLUTION

Our event production team created a complete Passport to Paradise experience, combining creative event theming with professional awards event management. We designed a series of themed touchpoints that began before the event, building anticipation through bespoke communications and boarding-pass invitations.

On arrival, guests were welcomed by PA Airways hosts and guided through a fully immersive airport experience, including check-in, security and a VIP departure lounge. The event space was transformed into a spectacular Neon Jungle, with a bespoke stage set, tropical foliage, colourful animal props, aircraft graphics and atmospheric lighting. Full AV production provided the technical framework for the awards presentations and entertainment.

Working closely with Crowne Plaza Stratford-upon-Avon and our suppliers, we managed every production detail, ensuring a seamless and engaging guest experience.

THE RESULT

The result was a spectacular and memorable themed awards event that successfully brought the Passport to Paradise concept to life for 120 international guests. From the moment they arrived, attendees were immersed in an engaging airport adventure before discovering the vibrant Neon Jungle awards environment.

The combination of creative event theming, immersive guest experiences, entertainment and professional corporate event production created a cohesive and theatrical celebration. Carefully designed details, including passport photography, oversized luggage, themed signage and aircraft graphics, encouraged interaction and provided memorable photo opportunities throughout the evening.
