JTI – Western Divisional Weekend

Overview

The JTI Western Divisional Family Weekend is a celebratory gathering for employees and their families. It aims to commemorate recent achievements and foster a strong sense of community within the organisation. Spanning a weekend, the festivities start on Friday afternoon with an informal BBQ-style event for all ages. Carefully curated entertainment, including indoor and outdoor activities and games to ensure everyone is catered for.

Saturday daytime offers guests free time to explore the local surroundings and hotel facilities, fostering relaxation and family bonding. The pinnacle of the weekend is a prestigious themed gala dinner for approximately 120 guests, exuding elegance and celebration. Alongside the dinner, we also provided a dedicated area and games for the children.

The Solution

After an extensive venue search, the chosen destination for the event was Goodwood Estate, nestled in the breath-taking South Downs. This remarkable location provided guests with a serene retreat, surrounded by picturesque landscapes, lush gardens, and stunning views. The hotel offered a perfect fusion of contemporary comfort and timeless allure, along with excellent onsite spa facilities.

The deal was sealed when the client viewed the magnificent Ballroom, at Goodwood House which is steeped in rich heritage and regal charm, making it a perfect backdrop to host a Masquerade Ball, a decision that instantly resonated with the client. Goodwood House is a beautiful stately room, therefore we wanted to create an intimate experience as well as providing a spectacular show for the guests. This meant installing quality sound and lighting that wasn’t too intrusive and enhanced the ambience and grandeur of the room.
