THE CHALLENGE
Following a competitive tender process, The Events Company was appointed to deliver an end of year celebration for SC Johnson, a global manufacturer of household and personal care products, based in Camberley Surry.
The chosen destination for the corporate event was an abandoned warehouse onsite, and our objective were to transform the space suitable for an end of year festive celebration and to include catering, drinks, entertainment, and a live stream for an end of year speech from the CEO from the US.
OUR SOLUTION
We successfully converted the warehouse space into an Après themed chalet with rustic tables and chairs with sheepskin covers, and a stone fireplace, complete with authentic props including ski racks, giant log bar, barrels, and a giant winter wonderland backdrop. To enhance the ambience, we provided smart intelligent lighting complete with snow falling from the ceiling.
As guests arrived, they were greeted by our chalet staff and offered a themed cocktail before taking to their seats for a three course Christmas dinner complete with all the trimming. After coffee we delivered a glitzy awards ceremony which included an opening speech from the CEO which was streamed live on a giant screen from the US. After the award presentations guests were treated to a Christmas Cracker themed quiz event hosted by our head elf, which included a variety of themed challenges that kept the guests entertained.
AN END OF YEAR CELEBRATION - THE RESULTS
The event was a huge success, with positive feedback from the client and the attendees. The warehouse space was transformed into a festive and cozy venue, and the guests enjoyed the food, drinks, entertainment and the speech from the CEO. The event achieved the objectives of celebrating the achievements of the year, rewarding the employees and strengthening the company culture.
