Castaway is a fun, educational, outdoor experience designed to get everyone out of the office to learn and experience basic survival skills in a fun, friendly and competitive setting designed to motivate and engage.
OUTDOOR SURVIVAL TEAM CHALLENGE WHAT'S INVOLVED?
In the ultimate challenge to survive as castaways, teams must compete in a series of survival challenges in order to win materials to achieve objectives such as keeping their fire ablaze, winning s canvas, ropes and tools to build a survival shelter that is structurally stable enough to protect you and your team from the elements and more!
This event is fully flexible, and the activities can be adapted to your location and business objectives. Whether you are looking for a half day or full day with an evening experience, we can arrange a day in the wilderness and enjoy an evening around the campfire under the stars. However, be prepared to cook your own rations for the day, don’t worry no insects involved unless requested.
The Activities
There is a wide range of activities for teams to test their survival skills on, all with the objective of gaining life-saving resources to help in 3 main challenges: fire building and maintenance, survival shelter building and whittling your very own castaway companion with points assigned at the end of the day for criteria such as durability, communication, presentation and creativity.
Some of the challenges your teams will be competing for resources in include wood chopping, archery, axe throwing, the kindling challenge, natural fibre cord crafting and more.
