Roaring 20s
It's the roaring 20's! Yes we have taken you back in time to the roaring 20's - the time of illicit gambling and the prohibition, feather boas and cigarette holders, black and white silent movies and of course The Charleston !!
As guests arrive, they will be asked on entry for the secret password by one of the gangster doormen and they may be surprised to receive their first pre dinner drink in tea cups, but it is the time of the prohibition and they are now in an illicit drinking den! So they don’t arouse suspicion with the long arm of the law...it's pre dinner drinks in tea cups adding to the theme.
This first drink could perhaps be a cocktail as it is this era when favourites such as the Martini were born to help improve the taste of secretly brewed gin and vodka! Pre-dinner guests will just mix and mingle. Then the dinner announcement is made and guests are taken through to the dining area where they will be met by background music.
The 1920's feel will be achieved with low-level room lighting. Tables will have black covers and gangster themed table menu holders and placecards if required.
Straight after dinner ‘It's Showtime’ with a full professional show by a 5 piece band. Afterwards guests can try their hand at the gangster run casino or dance the night away on the dance floor.
By this time in the evening to ensure the dance floor stays full we usually transport the guests back to our present era so that they can dance the night away with more modern disco music
