Bear Grylls

In May 1998, at the age of 23, "Bear" Grylls became the youngest British climber to climb Mount Everest. This feat was even more remarkable as only two years before he broke his back in a parachuting accident. His parachute failed to open and he broke two vertebrae in his back and chipped a third, essentially he was lucky not to have severed his spinal cord.

It is his natural ability to inspire and communicate effectively that people love, his talks are both challenging and informative. Bear leaves his audience with a clear understanding that to be successful the difference between winning and losing is in having the commitment and desire to go the extra distance to achieve your goals. Bear''s talk covers motivation, teamwork and resolving conflict as well as the humorous side of high altitude climbing.

His message is young, successful and positive. As one of the youngest motivational speakers on the international business circuit, Bear has won over even the toughest of audiences and has a list of extremely impressive references to his credit.
